OBA currently has two tiers of membership, general members and board members. Please sign up to join as a general member. Board members must be nominated; please fill out the application and make note of who nominated you and we will reach out to you to further discuss.

Newsletter updates on our “4 Pillars”: Advocacy, Political Action, Project Review, & Networking.

Review of member development project with professional feedback. Member projects that pass the review committee process will be given written feedback and a letter of support. Expertise on the project review committee includes but are not limited to former city planners and development professionals.

Our memberships are designed for entrepreneurs and businesses in construction, real estate, consulting, or other business ownership in Oakland. Members at this level receive a quarterly newsletter, an announcement of their new membership in the newsletter, and a listing on the Our Network services page of our website.
